Offered for sale is an exceptionally clean and well-preserved 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler with only 47,000 original miles. This Scrambler has been part of a private collection and comes with receipts dating back years to help document the mileage. It is a beautiful example of one of the most desirable classic Jeeps ever built.

Finished in a beautiful black paint job with an excellent appearance throughout, this CJ-8 rides on a fresh set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires mounted on custom slot alloy wheels. It has just the right stance thanks to a mild 2.5-inch lift along with newer shocks and shackles front and rear.

The exterior is loaded with classic old-school Jeep styling including:• Chrome bumpers• Nerf bars• Stainless steel trim package• Stainless mirror mounts• Stainless door hinges• Stainless windshield hinges• Stainless hood hinges• Stainless cowl vent cover• Wood bed side rails• Spray-in bedliner

Inside, the Jeep features desirable Laredo-style seats with white inserts, center console, 4-speed manual transmission, factory tachometer, and factory clock. The clock is currently inoperative, but all other gauges are functioning properly. The padded dash is in very nice condition, and the floors have also been professionally coated with spray-in bedliner material for durability and easy maintenance. It also features a wrapped steering wheel and powder-coated rear roll bar.

Under the hood, the engine compartment remains very original in appearance with the exception of an upgraded aluminum finned valve cover. Power brakes and working air conditioning make this Scrambler enjoyable to drive.
