Description
We are a motorcycle dealer in Mansfield Texas, we traded for this 1979 CJ-5. The previous owner removed the 258 6 cylinder and installed a 304 V-8. It has an RV cam for more torque. The transfer case is a dana 300, the transmission is a three speed manual. The jeep was painted silver from the factory, the previous owner painted it bright yellow. The paint is very good over all with a few blemishes on the passenger side behind the front wheel. It has power steering and power front disc brakes. The motor runs good and has a good v-8 sound. The factory tachometer works, plus all the gauges except for the temperature gauge. The tires are mud terrains and have about 85% tread. the radio is missing, it does have speakers installed. The front bucket seats are in good shape along with the rear seat. It has a roll bar that is painted yellow. The floor boards are silver and in very solid condition.
