Description
1968 VW Herbie the Love Bug Beetle Tribute. This is a really fun car to drive! Powering this Bug is the 1600 CC dual port 50HP engine. It moves this Herbie look alike down the road with a bunch of energy. You will be surprised how much power it has.
We took Herbie into our shop and looked it over real good. It has new tires (2021 date code) new brakes, a new carburetor and it drives really well. We don't hear any rattles and the suspension works as it should.
The interior looks to be original, but is in very good condition overall.
There are a few service records for work that has been done recently.
The paint is not this cars strong point! It looks like it was applied with a roller and is not very smooth. From 20 feet away it looks okay, but as you get closer you start to see the imperfections.
The best part of this Beetle is the way it drives. It has plenty of power and is just fun! You will get plenty of attention everywhere you go!
